The bride was delighted with the finished product and [...] ![]() Today the Odyssey celebrates it’s tenth anniversary. To mark the occasion the Boston Bruins are playing the Belfast Giants. The novelty cake is in the shape of 44. One of the 4′s has the Boston Bruins colours, the other is the Belfast Giants colours. Sugarcraft Phalaenopsis orchids aka moth orchids (the knowledge one accumulates whilst making cakes!) added the finishing touch to this cake. 5 tier stacked cake (arms are a fews inches longer after delivering these large staked cakes!). The piping detail black ribbon and black gerbra finish this cake off. I love black and white/ivory cakes as they always “stand out”. A danity little cake with sugarcraft roses, flowing down the front. Small cakes do not have to be dull. This style combines royal icing piped stripes (tiers 1and 4) with brushed embroidery (tier2) and pearl piping detail (tier3). Colour was mixed to complement bridesmaids dresses. The top is finished with a sugarcraft open rose. We are travelling far and wide these days. This week one of my deliveries was to the beautiful setting of Castle Leslie. I was very proud of myself, followed my friends directions, successfully negotiated Armagh etc. and arrived in Glaslough.
